Eric Schoonveld, a founding partner of HPS, has been selected to the 2024 Mountain States Super Lawyers list. This honor is awarded to only 5% of attorneys through a comprehensive, multifaceted review process of individuals who have attained high peer recognition and have demonstrated achievement in their field.

Eric is a seasoned attorney known for his expertise in handling challenging and unique cases, often outside his comfort zone. A co-founder of HPS in 2002 and the firm's first managing partner, Schoonveld has played a pivotal role in the firm's national expansion. He has led high-profile cases, including a landmark wrongful-death suit in Nevada and a critical trial in Utah, solidifying HPS' reputation. Schoonveld has also expanded his practice to include medical care in correctional settings, achieving significant victories. His dedication to taking on complex and unfamiliar cases has driven his 30-year career and the growth of HPS.
