We are thrilled to announce that Sapna Lalmalani, Partner at HPS, has been selected as an honoree for the 5th Women in Law: Leaders Leaning In Award by Law Bulletin Media and Chicago Lawyer Magazine. This award recognizes influential women in law who have demonstrated leadership excellence, mentored fellow attorneys, and consistently contributed to the legal community. Sapna’s recognition reflects her outstanding contributions to both her clients and the legal community.
Past winners, Marilee Clausing '20, Jen Ries '21, and Laura Ginett ‘23 (not pictured) joined Sapna at last night's award ceremony to celebrate her achievement and show their support.
Sapna is a distinguished healthcare litigation attorney whose work focuses on defending healthcare providers in complex, high-exposure cases involving medical negligence and catastrophic injuries. Her ability to navigate challenging legal issues with a strong attention to detail and a diligent work ethic has set her apart as a leader in her field. After joining HPS, Sapna quickly developed her own client base and played a crucial role in elevating the firm’s reputation. Her impact was further solidified in 2023 when she became one of the youngest attorneys to be made Equity Partner.
Sapna’s commitment to her clients, mentorship, and leadership within the legal profession make her a deserving recipient for this prestigious award. Congratulations, Sapna!
