Hall Prangle Attorneys Attend 2025 CHRMS Annual Meeting

Last Friday, Hall Prangle attorneys Gina Ambrose, David Kalimuthu, Brad Schneiderman, and Joe Ambrose attended the 2025 CHRMS Annual Meeting. The event brought together healthcare risk management professionals for a day of education, collaboration, and leadership development.

A highlight of the meeting was the election of the 2025-2026 CHRMS Board of Directors. We are proud to share that Brad Schneiderman was elected President-Elect, and Gina Ambrose was elected to the Executive Board. Their leadership and commitment to advancing healthcare risk management will contribute greatly to CHRMS’s continued success.

In addition to the board elections, David Kalimuthu and Joe Ambrose delivered a presentation titled "SOL – An Acronym that is Not Defense Friendly," which explored the nuances of the statute of limitations for medical malpractice lawsuits in Illinois. Specifically, they highlighted when the statute of limitations may toll for certain individuals, exceptions to the statute, and strategies for how attorneys can effectively raise the statute of limitations as a defense throughout the lifespan of a lawsuit.
